The ARC advanced composite technology system is one of the most effective ways to repair moving parts that have been damaged by abrasion, corrosion and erosion. The ARC composite provides an extremely durable, tough and smooth protective layer that delivers cost savings across the board.

Levern Engineering is the sole licensed Service Partner for Chesterton ARC, Advanced Reinforced Ceramic Composites in Scotland. We have developed a state-of-the-art facility at our Glasgow premises, where our trained technicians can prepare equipment and apply the ARC composite under optimum conditions.

Using our solvent wash and shot blast facility we can prepare and test a component (up to 14' x 8') prior to coating. Your equipment is then transferred to our temperature controlled coatings room where optimum ARC application and curing takes place. We also provide an on-site service for larger equipment.

These new materials are more chemically resistant than Hastallroy, more abrasion resistant than Nihard or Stelite and other abrasion resistant materials. Arc surface composites also provide superior protection over metal surfaces without the costs or typical problems associated with metalization, welding or replacement.

Component tolerances remain virtually unchanged throughout the life of the pump, delivering a low friction coefficient and improved fluid flow efficiency. This in turn results in extended life cycle energy savings.
